It should come as no surprise that the ARRMA Granite 3S BLX makes the list. It’s super tough, leading its class with its redesigned chassis for the V3 version. Its modular design makes replacing and fixing parts easy if something were to break on the ARRMA Granite.

If you are familiar with the ARRMA 3S BLX lineup, you know that the same chassis and electronics is used for other RC vehicles, like the Big Rock and Senton. We did a full in-depth review of the ARRMA Big Rock BLX 3S. We choose to include the Granite instead of the Big Rock on this list because of its more playful nature, having a shorter wheelbase makes it a lot more of a stunt truck.

Batteries and charger are not included unfortunately with this RC truck. On our ARRMA Big Rock BLX 3S review you can find our recommended Battery + Charger setup, since the ARRMA Big Rock 3S BLX uses the same electronics.

Traxxas is one of the oldest, and best names in the RC Hobby. While some of their designs are older, they still hold up. If you are looking for extreme quality, and levels of support/modification that are on another level then other manufacturers. Then this is where you want to be.

This RC truck is indeed perfect for bashing, as the chassis and parts used are tough and widely available. The VXL is a system used by Traxxas that helps keep your RC vehicle stable. This can help when bashing, so your RC Truck does not go somewhere you do not want it to go.

This is a strong and rugged vehicle that will provide much bashing entertainment.

The body of the Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL 4WD is hardened. Posts are placed so that no damage to chassis occurs if landing upside down. The plastic body shell has a reinforced top so to help keep the shell from cracking.

This RC Truck is seriously fast. On an optimal Li-PO battery setup, the Rustler VXL can hit 65+ MPH. We would only suggest going this fast if you are experienced in driving RC Vehicles at high speed.

This vehicle does not come with batteries or a charger, you will need to buy them separately. Traxxas recommends their own batteries + charger, but they are very costly. You should be fine with another brands Li-PO or NIMH batteries, as long as you have an adapter/solder on Traxxas connectors.
